Soft and particularly enticing, Caciocavallo of Casacalenda has particular, intense and attractive aromas, delicate fragrances of milk and cooked butter, and light, leafy notes.
Caciocavallo is one of the oldest traditional stringy cheeses of the South of Italy. Aromatic and delicate, it has a flavour that “melts” in the mouth when fresh, a sharp and persistent aroma and a full taste that is often spicy.
